Absence of Despair is a metalcore band from Providence in Rhode Island.
Absence of Despair has many influences ranging from rap, hardcore, country, blues and metal.
The band formed in April of 2008, with four core members; Cody Laflamme on lead vocals, Tyler Caruso on lead guitar and backing vocals, Billy Achille on drums and backing vocals, Mike Demers on bass and Brian Moulton on rhythm guitar.
