Absolute Terror Field was a melodic metalcore / melodic death metal band from Rome in Italy, formed in 2008. Absolute Terror Field disbanded in 2013.
The band styled themselves as Swedecore, playing US-style metalcore in the style of Killswith Engage and As I Lay Dying mixed with Swedish melodeath (In Flames, At The Gates).
Absolute Terror Field's debut (and only) album, The Hedgehog's Dilemma, uses an analogy of hedgehogs needing to come together for mutual warmth but being unable to avoid hurting each other due to their quills, as an analogy for human loneliness.
