ADAMANTIUM is a metalcore band formed in Orange County, California after the demise of the band Collapse. In that year, a demo cassette was recorded and a small local fan base was formed. In 1997, the band released the "Tradition" 7" E.P. on Prime Directive Records / Softcore. Following the success of the E.P., they signed to Indecision Records in 1998, and released their first album, From The Depths Of Depression in November 1998. The line-up for this release was Aaron Stone (vocals), Keith Barney (guitar), Aaron Lisi (guitar), Sean Rosenthal (bass) and Matt Horwitz (drums). After this release, Keith Barney left to play with Death By Stereo and subsequently Throwdown and Eighteen Visions. Sean Rosenthal left for an opportunity to tour with Alt.
