Advocates is a progressive metalcore band originally from Auckland in New Zealand, formed in 2011.
Advocates is now based in Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.
Previously from The Rest Is Silence, drummer Simon Webby and guitarist David Smythe formed the band before recruiting former Cast Them To Ruin vocalist Nico Batenburg, guitarist-Scotty War from Awaiting The Storm and most recently Doni Moines on bass.
