Ascend is a Drone Doom duo of Gentry Densley (Eagle Twin) and Greg Anderson (Sunn O))), Goatsnake). Ascend is a unique act, combining the crushing intensity of Sunn O))) and Eagle Twin with softer sections of post styled guitar, and even some jazzy sections with Trombone. To date Ascend has only released one album, Ample Fire Within, in 2008.
