Blood From The Soul is an industrial metalcore / hardcore / mathcore project from Birmingham in England.
The project was the brainchild of Shane Embury (Napalm Death) who hooked up with Lou Koller of Sick Of It All who had met on tour and become friends. The idea was to quickly get in the studio and produce an album during an extended period of downtime from the Napalm Death touring cycle. The album mixed hardcore punk, industrial metal and grind.
Blood From The Soul's only output from the band's first iteration was the 1994 album, To Spite the Gland That Breeds. More releases followed in 2020.
