Burden Of A Day was an American Christian post-hardcore / metalcore band from Sarasota in Florida, formed in January 2004.
The band was signed to Rise Records before its breakup in 2010.
The band's influences included the likes of Thrice, The Bled, All That Remains.
Burden Of A Day started as a worship band in church, until they were moved to reach out to people with their music.
Most of the members of Burden Of A Day are still together, working on a new, untitled album under the band name Colours. Colours will have a different sound to BOAD.
