Chaos U.K. is a UK82 hardcore / hardcore punk / anarcho-punk rock band originally from Portishead in Somerset, formed in 1979.
Developing a fast aggressive style of hardcore punk, the band along with contemporaries such as Discharge and Disorder helped drive the development of hardcore punk. Chaos U.K. was also a significant influence on the Japanese hardcore scene.
