Counterpart was a metallic hardcore band from the Netherlands, formed in November 1998.
Inspired by Slayer, Metallica, Hatebreed, Ryker's, Merauder and others, the band started touring in 1999.
In June 1999 the band recorded its first CD-demo, Strike One, which was followed by some line-up changes.
In June 2000 the band recorded its second demo, Blood Honour Trust.
In May 2002 Counterpart released "Crossfire" a split CD with Urban Conflict.
