Courting Pandora was an Australian metalcore band formed 2007 in Townsville in Queensland. The band split in 2012.

"Courting Pandora was started in 2007 by 5 like minded dudes from Townsville, North Queensland who wanted to play aggressive thrashy metal/hardcore and have some fun playing some shows. The band has supported such acts as I Killed The Prom Queen, Wish For Wings and many others. A few member changes in 2008 saw the band become a 6 piece with 2 vocalists to add diversity. The band relocated to Brisbane in 2010 to reach new people and hopefully play some bigger shows. Fast forward to 2011 will see the release of the bands new E.P 'World Of Filth', recorded in Caloundra with Matt Shorter at RTD Studios. The band are hoping for bigger things to come in 2012."
