Days of Atonement is a Canadian metalcore groove metal band from Carbon in Alberta, formed in 2007.
In 2008 the band recorded a 3 song demo CD with JOKI Records and began getting their name and style out there. The band then changed their line up and started writing a full length album.
After a break, in 2011 and after months of writing and re-writing they went back into the studio with Joel Fabrick of JOKI Records and recorded 'It Starts Today', a 10 song full length album they are proud to call their own.
As of March 2013 the band has gone back to its core two members (Steve and Nick) and they working on writing a heavier, more groove and speed oriented style of metal that is superior to the last record.
