Picture Diamond Drive is an Aarhus (DK) based metal quintet. Since 2006 the band has released three critically acclaimed EP's.
“Early 2007” was the first release from Diamond Drive, which combined material from earlier projects. By critics the sound was difficult to label because of the musical diversity, but the EP took shape of a rock release. It was well received by the national media as it was rated with an average of 5/6.
In 2008 came “The Infidel’s EP” which brought the band into a different direction musically. By heavymetal.dk it was called “hard-hitting post-rock” and was compared to artists such as Disturbed, Alter Bridge and The Mayfield Four. The media took a great liking to Diamond Drive and especially the single “Infidels” was praised as it was featured on a Metal Hammer
