Dignity Dies First was a metalcore band from Ponytpridd in Wales.
The band was formed in September 2003 by guitarists Martin Fairchild and Nic Small, singer Matthew Evans, bassist Mike Drew with Hywel Williams on drums. The latter was soon replaced by Johnny Gardener.
After the band's first release in 2004 through Cardiff based label Staunch Records, Drew was replaced by Davey Harries on bass in mid 2005. The following year Johnny Gardener left.
Dignity Dies First has now disbanded.
