Hipospadia are an avant-garde metal band from Spain. A very eclectic band, they include avant-garde music, black, death and neo—classical metal, prog, classical and jazz, to pop, latin, punk and circus in their music. Hipospadia was born in October 1999, when Álvaro Blanco, Sergio Domínguez and Antonio decided to create a band. Originally, the band was called Mr. Frog. After probing several guitarists, Daniel Bautista was chosen. The meetings began in Arucas, Spain in November 1999. Miguel García (vocalist of a band called In Albis) joined the band as keyboardist.
