IMMANENT Is a female-fronted progressive metal band, formed in Paris, France in 2009. The band consists of Anastasiya Malakhova (Vocals, Piano), Nicolas Geneste (Guitars), Gwénaël Esteve (Bass Guitar), and Anthony Besnard (Drums). From their early days Immanent have been playing live in Paris' independent venues and have acted as a support act for bands as Benighted Soul and Polaris.
Before releasing their debut, they contributed in the ''World of Glass'' compilation with their first single, 'Seclusion'. Their first album, ''In Acedia'', was recorded in London's Fortress Studios and released in November 2012. Imanent are eclectic in their influences, incorporating jazz and classical music into their sound alongside symphonic and death metal.
