From Bonn, located in western Germany, rises this new and young progressive death metal band: LEVIATHAN. Stylistically marked by traditional Death Metal on the one hand and fresh Progressive Melodic Death Metal on the other hand, they are ready to make their way out of the underground-scene as soon as possible.
On the musical side the five-piece creates a unique mix by not adapting to strict borders of any genre. Instead they add also rather unfamiliar stylistics into a foundation of solid Swedish Death Metal. Also on the lyrical side the band offers ingenious concepts which not only influence the music, but also the whole artwork of each album, opening a whole new dimension for the listener.
With Jonas Reisenauer (Guitar, Vocals), Tobias Dahs (Guitar), Tom Heinz (Bass) und Tobias Parke (Drums) four creative, motivated and young men got together in summer 2007 to form the band, joined shortly later
