Neptune Towers was a side-project of Norwegian musician Fenriz (Gylve Nagell) which was active between 1993 - 1995 and consisted of Dark/Space Ambient music. Fenriz described the project as "Deep Space Alien Astral Avantgarde Synth".
Two full-length albums were released, Caravans to Empire Algol (1994) and Transmissions from Empire Algol (1995).
A third album, Space Lab was recorded but never released, at least in complete form, as Fenriz lost faith in the project. Excerpts from the album were released as bonus tracks on a 2012 reissue of Transmissions from Empire Algol.
Fenriz is quite a noted member of the metal music world particularly within the black metal genre and his band Darkthrone. It is for this reason that his Neptune Towers project has been included in the MMA as a Metal Related artist.
