Nymphs is an American grunge band from New Jersey (relocated to California), formed in 1987 by vocalist Inger Lorre and guitarist Bob Kulez. The band went through many lineup changes prior to signing to Geffen in 1989, including founding member Bob Kulez leaving. The band's lineup following consisted of Inger Lorre, Geoff Siegel, Sam Merrick, Cliff D., and Alex Kirst. The band's self-titled debut and only album was released in 1991, after several delays from the label and the band's chosen producer Bill Price working with Guns 'n' Roses at the same time.
The band broke up in 1992, due to tension within the band and frustrations with the record label. Inger Lorre reformed the band in 2016 with completely new members with plans of a new album and touring, but quickly fell apart in the same year with only a live show coming of it.
