Poison The Well was a metalcore / post-hardcore band from Miami in Florida, formed in 1997.
Originally the band was formed as An Acre Lost.
The band was signed to Ferret Records. Guitarist Ryan Primack and drummer Chris Hornbrook were the only consistent members of the band involved on all albums, although vocalist Jeffrey Moreira was the singer on all five full-length albums.
Poison The Well went on a long-term hiatus in 2010 to "explore other interests."
