Sergent Slaughter was a brutal death metal/gindcore band formed in Lille, France in 2001, later relocating to Nancy. The band's name comes from G.I. Joe's alias. The band was first put together by Wiande and Syphilisman, with Motokultor and Crustbazar joining soon after.
The band recorded two splits before Crustbazar and Syphilisman left due to musical differences in 2004. Motokultor left shortly after, and a new lineup was announced, but no new material ever emerged.
It is unknown whether the band has actually broken up or has been renamed Kobra Kommando.
