Shaft of Steel are a melodic metal band influenced by acts such as Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Rush, Queensrÿche, Edguy, Whitesnake, Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian. We combine these influences with our love of classic and contemporary AOR to create something that we believe is truly unique.
We have just finished working on our debut EP with the legend that is Dennis Ward (of Pink Cream 69/Unisonic/Place Vendome fame), which also comes with artwork by Felipe Machado Franco, designer for the likes of Blind Guardian, Iced Earth and Rhapsody of Fire.
