Shortie was a metalcore band from Sacramento in California, formed in 1998.
Shortie were a sort of screamo band, mixing elements of emo, nu metal and post hardcore to a unique blend.
The band was signed to Earache Records and released three albums.
Shortie was an original band in the genre, but the band found little commercial success and broke up in 2006.
