The beginning of Shotgun Rivals started in 2010, when Dan.e.Toy met Caz-Riot at a bar in Warberg. Toy had just moved down to Warberg from Stockholm and left his former band Titanic Toys! Caz and Toy started talking about putting a band together and they where united about one thing, the band was gonna be called Shotgun Rivals. The road to it was long. So in between they started a cover band called White Punks On Dope, who focused on rock music from the 80:s. The lead guitarist from WPOD also started out as leadguitarist in Shotgun. But later on Andy took the decision to drop out because he wanted to focus on his own projects. But we needed a bassplayer, and met another Andy who worked in the music store in Warberg. He came down to the rehearsel room and everything came together.
