Single Bullet Theory is a metalcore band from Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, formed in 2000.
The band's name comes from the theory of a single bullet used to kill John F. Kennedy as opposed to the infamous "second gunman" theory.

Prior to having a proper record deal, SBT did 7 full length USA tour including a 5 week run of dates with Hypocrisy, Soilwork and Killswitch Engage. This led to the band being noticed by several metal record labels.
Their first album, "Route 666," was released in April of 2003 by Crash Music Inc. (formerly Pavement Records) and went on to receive rave reviews and strong placement on metal radio nationwide which became the catalyst for getting their video "Murder Machines" aired on Headbangers Ball, Extreme Rock and Fuse Uranium.
