Society's Finest is a metalcore band from Dallas in Texas, formed in 1997.
Society's Finest's debut album, The Journey...So Far, was released on Solid State Records, in May 2000.
Due to various line changes,the band was forced into a hiatus, but got back together soon after. During the time on hiatus, vocalist Josh Ashworth toured with the Christian Metal band, Zao.
When the band re-formed they left Solid State, to join Hand of Hope Records. With this label, the band released, Love, Murder, and a Three Letter Word, in mid-2004. It contained new songs, along with old songs from their debut EP; Private Conflicts and Suicides.
Society's Finest's third album, And I, Drunkard was released in June 2006. Vocalist Josh Ashworth is the only remaining original member. Member Kris McCaddon has played in bands such as, The Famine (Along with Nick Nowell), Embodyment, and Demon Hunter. Tim Lambesis formed
