Sons Of Tonatiuh was an American sludge metal band from Atlanta in Georgia, formed in 2008.
Sons Of Tonatiuh disbanded in 2018, playing its last show on 4th May 2018.

Sons of Tonatiuh was conceived on 4/25/08 in a ditch by the side of a dirt road. The concept behind SOT consists of recognizing where we as a human race came from, what it means to be immortal, and how important it is to understand the history of the native world.
Here's the breakdown.... Sons of Tonatiuh is composed of Dan, Mike, Darby, and Tim. Back in Aug of '08 Mike Longoria (Withered) recorded our first four song demo. In March of '09 SOT did a 1 week tour up the East coast and then in Sept of '09 we did a 2 week tour out to the West coast and back. Between March 13-15th of 2010, we recorded 8
