Sphere is a progressive metalcore / djent band from Oslo, Norway who consist of 5 talented young musicians.
The band has integrity in the local metal scene for its technical proficiency and tight performance of its music, elements of both melodic death, progressive and the core side of metal, and has a lot of variety and textures to their music.
A tight unit who produce impeccable technical metalmusic, for fans of Textures, Tesseract, Cloudkicker,Xerath, Gojira and Meshuggah.
From web-page: Sphere was formed in Oslo Norway 2012, consisting of guitarist/vocalist Marius Strand, lead vocalist Isak Haugan, drummer Bjørn Dugstad, guitarist Michael Hebo and bassist Øystein Sundsbø. The goal was to create a new kind of modern metal combining various genres. A ten track recording and mixing session was completed resulting in an album sounding brutal, djenty, yet catchy and with an electronic and ambient layer in the soundscape. -
