Super Junky Monkey is a Japanese funk metal/alternative metal band from Tokyo formed in 1991. They released their debut live album, Cabbage, in 1994. The band wrote songs for the opening and end credits of the second season of animated series Skysurfer Strike Force. The band disbanded in 1999 after vocalist Mutsumi Fukuhara sadly committed suicide. In 2009 the surviving band members played a show together and have since continued playing concerts as a three-piece.
