Synaptic Fracture is an industrial metal project from E.M. Hearst of Cincinnati in Ohio, formed in 2008.

Synaptic Fracture is a Cyberdelic Industrial band from North America specializing in dark atmospherics and harsh cybernetic textures. Band members 'Hearst' and 'Dirge' forge a hybrid Industrial sound that cannot be categorized into any specific sub genre. The group combine their music with powerful psychedelic imagery, taking audiences on a journey through the dark corners of existence.The lyrics are abstract and poetic, layered over a harsh industrial landscape of hallucinatory sights and sounds. The result is a glimpse into a nightmarish future, a twisted cybernetic hell.
Synaptic Fracture is an unsigned act, and releases all of its own demo albums on the grass roots record label Elf Machine. The band has existed in several different forms since 2006 when it was initially called Neo Hizumi.
