THE NOCTAMBULANT is a melodic black metal band formed in Florida, US, in 2013.
The name of the band means "Night Walker", which the band says is a "fitting title for a musical collective heavily steeped in the darker sides of metal."
The band was created by E. Helvete and D. Franseth. They started creating and playing their brand of melodic black metal joined by bass player Lars Goerschafft. Eventually, a second guitar player, John Hoarfrost, was added to the line up. Hoarfrost left the band in early 2014 and was replaced by local guitarist Chris Bhoff.
In 2016, Hoff left the band and was replaced by B.C.
