This further proves its an elitist panel that would rather be a "private club" than a celebration of music. One news item is not surprising in a genre merger that shows it that I do not need to get into in order to get a reaction but that is not the only thing.

You think since the things are generally considered worthless that it wouldn't cost more to give them out. LOL

No Best Rock Instrumental Performance??
4 classical awards eliminated??

Not surprised by the hard rock/metal merger since they're clueless about both anyways.  When a metal band (hell, any artist) had "grammy Award-winning" tagged to their name it gives them less credibility anyways.

Who cares about the Grammy anyway? It's just the music industry tycoons patting each other and themselves on the back.
