OBSCURA: 'Omnivium' Enters German Media Control Newcomers Chart

OBSCURA's recently released sophomore album Omnivium has entered in at #14 on the official German Newcomers Chart as determined by Media Control. This is OBSCURA's first time appearing in the nationally monitored entertainment charts for their native Germany and follows the band's recent debut at #11 in the Billboard Top New Artists or 'Heatseekers' chart in the U.S. Omnivium was released internationally on April 4th on CD, double LP, and digitally.

OBSCURA will kick-off their first tour in support of Omnivium later this month as part of a four-week European tour alongside HATE ETERNAL, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, and more. This tour also includes a performance as part of the annual Neurotic Deathfest. A listing of confirmed OBSCURA tour dates can be found below with more to be announced soon.

Additionally OBSCURA drummer Hannes Grossmann is offering private drum-lessons in the cities along the route during this tour. Grossmann's lessons will include: hand and foot techniques, rhythmical application within a metal context, warm-up routines and blast beats and blast beat syncopation and are developed specifically for intermediate-to-advanced students. These lessons can be held at the participant's own rehearsal room or domestic house.
