So after a long hiatus from the site, I've come back and shall hopefully be on far more often nowadays.
I've got a little pet project of mine, a list over on RYM which attempts to list the longest metal tracks from each subgenre. It's hardly a comprehensive list, as I'm still discovering new stuff all the time, but such as it is, this seems like a place it will go appreciated. Feel free to offer suggestions so I can fill in gaps I've missed! I've actually been surprised how few progressive metal bands go for the 1 track album route. https://rateyourmusic.com/list/renkls/longest_songs_of_black_death_doom_prog_experimental_symphonic_folk_metal/ |

Hmm, I'll need to think. You've not surprisingly got the ones I could recall off the top of my head!

Added now. Also remembered another obscurity that's from an artist who pulled a 180 degree spin on what his normal output of music is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIZqr38iFi4

Thought of this as well:
It's a re-recorded version of the same thing, not sure if you'd want to list one or both. The newer versions are a bit longer (first link).

I love that album. I wanted to keep Doom metal tracks above the 35 minute mark as there's dozens of them, hence why it was left out. |

@ adg211288 Thanks, this is quite an interesting find. Probably won't add it as there's a bundle of black metal tracks that'd need to be added if I put the duration limit below 35 minutes, but I'm digging this.

Glad you're liking it. There was supposed to be three albums in a trilogy, but they started redoing it in 2011 after doing the first two parts and seem to have dropped off the map without doing the third one even after the new versions of the other two.
