Topic: Inherently Lost Metal, Melodic Death, PostBlack, Posted: 19 Apr 2020 at 10:30am |
Below is a link to Youtube, Along with a bio. The music is available on all streaming platforms YouTube,
https://smarturl.it/Inherentlylost
Bio: During his time as the vocalist for Torso Murder and the bassist for Orwellian, Mark Moats began a side project to feed his creativity by posting an advertisement for an “Heavy Electronic” band. Influenced by Symphonic Metal bands like Epica, Lacuna Coil and Evanescence, Moats recruited musicians for his project and began to write and mixing different styles for what would become a blackened melodic death metal sound with hints of industrial.
Now, the band is ready to release a conceptual EP entitled “Our Last Midnight”, as a Pre-Apocalyptic warning to all on Earth. The EP released on March 17th, 2020 via Entwined Recordings.
I'm new to this site, is this how you submit a band? -Entwined

Hi, welcome to MMA, yes this is fine to submit the band. One of our collabs will do the actual addition to the database. Based on your description of the music I'll ask our death metal collabs to listen first.

This is multi metal genre band. Probably be better for someone who familiar with Symphonic Metal.(too many to list in the headline) At the same time, it's not straight Symphonic metal or maybe Gothic Metal? It will be interesting to see where you guys classify Inherently Lost. Thanks again.

Just been having a listen to this. Not quite sure where is the best place to put them. Kind of a prog/symphonic/death metal blend.

On reflection after another listen prog metal might be the best home for now despite the death metal elements. I'll add in the next day or 2.
