I got a bit bogged down going through my old magazines trying to listen to what reviewers had reviewed back in the day (that damn grunge era kicked in!LOL), so I came up with this idea instead: why not make a playlist and list challenge for those old magazines instead? So here's my first go at it, from the very first metal magazine I ever got, Hot Metal issue 3 from March 1989. Living in New Zealand rather than Australia where the magazine was published I always got it a month or so later. Depending on your age, this is either a trip down memory lane or a history lesson.Cool

List challenge:

Here's another couple I've done. Kerrang!'s 1997 100 albums to hear list:

I got 60/100 there.

And from the first Terrorizer I ever bought:

I got 24/24 here, but that's because I listened to everything reviewed here during lockdown a few months back.Wink

Not sure I can be arsed with playlists for these two.

And I got 94 from that list.Cool

There's also a writers poll as well.

A bit more respectable 37.

Don't forgot you can also post these on the MMA Subreddit and r/Your_List_Challenges.
