RE: the prog suggestions

The "Delusions of Grandeur" link doesn't work, even when copy/pasted. I can't find any references to this band on the web. Please provide some so the band can be evaluated, preferably something that links to some studio material. Thumbs Up

I think that What's Left of Her sounds like progressive metalcore, in which case they'll likely be added to that sub instead.

Dimaura didn't strike me as being very progressive from what I could hear on their myspace. Can't find any discography information either, which will make adding them difficult. If you have any additional information, please provide it. Thanks.

Ill have a look and a listen to the death and thrash suggestions.

Ill need more info on Burial At Sea-Death Metal from Canton, Ohio
http://www.myspace.com/burialatseamusic
I cant find info on their releases.
The same with Burn False Idols.

Father Horror added to death metal: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/father-horror.aspx
Crown the Lost added to thrash metal: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/crown-the-lost.aspx
Aftermath A.D. added to thrash metal: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/aftermath-ad.aspx (but Im not sure its the correct one?)

Update:
A photo of the cover of Burn False Idols "Self Destruct" EP is on their facebook right here:http://www.facebook.com/pages/Burn-False-Idols/149102145143769 in the merchandise album of the photos section. The tracks are the three with the ep cover on their Myspace. Also the Aftermath AD profile links to the early 1990s North Carolina band.   I fixed the Burial At Sea and Delusions of Grandeur links though both bands are in the middle of finalizing the recordings of their debuts because of delays.  I apologize for these errors lately.

Has In Wake of You released any official albums? They're certainly deathcore but I can't find info on an EP, demo, album, etc.

Ditto on Bury thy Kingdom... their facebook makes it seem like they have an album but I can't find info.

According to their reverb nation right here: they have release one ep: http://www.reverbnation.com/inwakeofyou . It states the same thing on their facebook under the band profile section.

Hm, alright. These obscure metalcore bands tend to be less-than represented on the internet in terms of release info.

Well, I found the tracklist on a torrent site Ermm

If you can find the cover to their EP, can you post it here?

Burn False Idols' bio also refers to no official release. Is this true?

Similar story for Sever Our Skies. Be sure to alert us when the bands w/o releases release something so they can be added.

It may be easier to evaluate Delusions of Grandeur once they have a major release out, or at thee very least some information about it, especially since the genre they describe themselves on Facebook is a bit of a mouthful: "Metal/Progressive/Post-Grind Ukrainian Death Polka" Confused Sounds like it could potentially fit all sorts of places. I can't see any prior discography information on their page. If you don't have any, we'll come back to this one when we can.

I have updated the artist links in this topic with some of the artist's purevolume pages for proof of demos.

Bump.

Burial At Sea, Dimaura, Burn False Idols, Delusions of Grandeur, Bury Thy Kingdom, and Sever Our Skies don't seem to have ever been added

Is this
