Looks like either a crossover thrash or hardcore album, but couldn't find anything in a first look.

I doubt anyone will get mine.
I just happened to be listening to it at the time. Let's see how this turns out...

Last clue is it's an early Australian band.

I think the crop must be from a reissue cover. My CD at least looks like what we have on MMA.
This seems to be slowing down now and we're down to two images unanswered. I still have no idea on either of them even with clues.

First hint was that it's the only album from the band where there's two vocalists. Second hint is that it's also the band's debut album.

But that didn't apply to your other one which I've just figured out:
The movie in your second clue was Hemmingway and Gellhorn and the drummer acting in it is Lars Ulrich.

Honestly I avoid answering any that are a bit too obvious for me to give someone else a chance on them, but if no one else gets it I'll post it. I do know what it's from, even without the clue.

I also have this one without any guesses yet. Honestly I thought Adam might get this one since I know he owns it.
Clue: The name of this album is the name of a real place.

Did you see my posted clue? A second clue building on from the first, which may make this too obvious, is that the famous writer that this cover depicts had a film made about him that a very famous metal drummer had an acting role in.
