Yeah, it's really cool to see our logo lined up all over the place on that list site.

Thanks, I'm hoping this list showcases the diversity of genres we have here. And maybe highlights a few releases people have missed so far. I probably could have stretched this one even further, but had to draw a line somewhere. 200 was a good amount.

11 of these. Too many albums in the universe. Great work though, Adam!

24, which isn't bad, since I got about 5 for all of last year.

66/200 Just a couple less albums than I have on my RYM list so far, though that thing needs to be updated badly, probably later tonight.

Only got 11, but I've been meaning to listen to several other albums on the list. I've just been in the mood for older stuff I've been meaning to check out and favorites of mine.

New (longer) challenge. See how well you keep up with 2016 releases. Who knows which of these albums might end up featured in the next Collab's Best of Year list?

With Genghis Tron I guess it's that crossover between cybergrind / grind core and mathcore. The demarcation is somewhat fluid. The album I heard for me fell on the mathcore side but if you know otherwise on specific releases, you should change the tagging.

20 on trad metal.
4 on metalcore. I see Genghis Tron popping up there. For some reason, they've also been labelled grindcore, although I've never heard the slightest hint of it in the few songs I've heard. Edited by Vim Fuego - 28 May 2016 at 9:39pm |

11 of 103 for 2015
10 of 73 for 2014 29 of 100 for power metal Since I really don't hear whole albums unless I buy them, that's what I own 6 of 100 for the death metal If anyone does a progressive metal one, I'm betting I'd score pretty high. Certainly not the top scorer though, I'm sure. Edited by Jbird - 28 May 2016 at 8:14pm |

27 for Trad, 5 for Metalcore, 0 for Compilations. None of those are terribly surprising.

Ha ha, rubbish - only 2 on compilations which doesn't surprise me. never been one for them to be honest.
Trad - 30 - thought i would have a higher score on that one. metalcore - only 2 again. Suspected as much.

5 for compilations. Ah well.
Had 28 on the death ones (same as I'd heard) which was a little better! Edited by Bosh66 - 28 May 2016 at 4:22am |
