Fade to Black. It was my childhood favorite and still remains so today.

For Whom The Bell Tolls or Fade to Black. I went with the former.

Going to go with Fade to Black. I love the other tracks too but the melodies in this one always get me.

I'm of the same opinion, both are classic masterpieces, but there's just something that gives RtL the edge for me. Maybe it's because it was the first Metallica album I heard, and "Fight Fire With Fire" will forever be one of the heaviest and best songs in my book.

Creeping Death for me.

I've always felt that this album has a slight edge over Master of Puppets, even though that's not the popular opinion. Love MoP too of course.

Great album. Went for trapped under ice, but could have been any one of a few.

Relistening to this didn't make picking one any easier. I think I can rule out Trapped Under Ice, Escape and The Call of Ktulu, but I could vote for any of the other five happily.

This is my favourite Metallica album so I'm going to have to think about this for a while. I'll probably have to listen to it again first before I decide. I'll probably do that this morning, seeing this topic has put me in the mood.

I voted For Whom the Bell Tolls as well, though Creeping Death isn't far behind.

Nah, sorry, I meant For Whom The Bell Tolls. Love that introduction so much.

Vote your favorite from Metallica's classic Ride the Lightning.

My favorite Metallica album, as well as one of my all time favorites. Going with Fight Fire With Fire, that opener always gets me and is still one of the most brutal songs I've ever heard.
