I've haven't heard most of the albums there, but I voted Persefone, because they're an excellent, very underrated band and that album's their best.

This is a death metal version of the modern black metal classics poll, made using the same criteria:
Released between 2006 - 2016. No 2017 albums included due to being too new. One album per artist. In the RYM top 100 for the genre... Actually scratch that because that wouldn't give a full poll of options for death metal, unlike black metal where a few had to be left out. After number 11 I've just kept going down the chart until the poll was filled. So it's actually from the top 177. Vote for your favourite. |
