I went with Derrick, voting for the vocalist rather than the albums he's on.
If considering the quality of the albums it's tricky as Max is on what I think is objectively their best two releases, Beneath the Remains and Arise. That said, he's also on their worst album Roots. Derrick's era hasn't quite produced any classics, but is generally solid and consistent metal, especially from Dante XXI to present.

Derrick is the better vocalist in terms of technical skill and diversity of his performances, but I generally like the Max fronted albums better, so it´s a hard pick. I´ll have to with Max.

Derrick all the way. He's far more powerful, and is amazing at the Max era stuff. Also a great frontman.

I think it's obvious which way this one is going to go, but maybe these results will surprise me given their newer material is being quite well received.
Only two to pick from this time: Max Cavalera (1984-1996) Derrick Green (1998-Present) |
