Killing Joke, Motorpsycho, I'm a let you finish, but King Crimson is one of the most innovative bands of all time!!
Yeah, that's an old reference by now. I'm only a little bit familiar with the other two bands though, so I can't vote.

yes i think Motorpsycho is one of the most innovative and creative bands of the 90s, even if they can see to be a litle retro in parts they are very for their time
I will boldly say that Motorpsycho have very influentual on Anekdoten more so then vica versa, the heavy psycho prog of Anekdoten and Anglagard, the Psychos did it earlyer |

I wonder if Robert Fripp knows of Killing Jokes and what he thinks about them or if they have made an impact on him I also wonder how much King Crimson have influenced or how much Jaz Coleman are awere of King Crimsons music.

three bands from three decades apart whom changed their music scene but are also regarded as cult bands and not many in the mainstreem world are awere of them yet they have influenced probably some of the music they listen to
three bands who lack bounderys to describe them, who defies genres and be put in a box. three bands who have raw sounds but can also be beautifull and solemn, who balances heavy/dissonance riffs with atmospheric mellotron or synth textures, KC and MP are good with the mellotron sounds while KJ have impecable synth arangements who no bands do better, NiN and Tren Raznor have nothing on KJ in terms of dark synth florishes. |
