Now that I think about it, for me it's probably a tie between thrash and industrial.

I can't really choose one, It really just depends on my mood. All I can say is that Glam and Grind are my two least favorites, even though I do like some Glam and Grind bands.

Four or five favourites I could have chosen (although I listen to pretty much all sub-genres) but I've plumped for sludge. |

Hard to choose just one, I love progressive metal but also traditional heavy metal and traditional doom (clean vocals, obviously inspired by Black Sabbath - bands like Solitude Aeternus, Candlemass, Cathedral,Trouble, Count Raven to name a few).
Also some thrash as well, a little power metal; some hard rock, both from 70s (some of it can be classified as proto-metal) and the 80s. I won't vote for now, although I am tempted to choose progressive metal. :) |

Thrash! /o
It is easier to say what I do not like / I do not have habit of listening: death metal (if prog death metal, all right), black metal (I hate), metalcore () and grindcore. The rest I listen to everything. |

Neoclassical is usually placed under power, prog, or traditional on the site as far as I can remember. Varies by band. |

Although it doesn't appear, the genre I enjoy most is Neoclassical Metal. I usually listen to Power, Progressive and Symphonic Metal. However, I almost always listen to Instrumental Metal artists/bands.

Power. By miles, even though I love symphonic and prog a lot as well, along with some melodic death, thrash, trad, folk and gothic.
