1. Master of Puppets. Best album ever made in music. Yes. That much! :P
2. Kill 'Em All tied with Ride the Lightning. With a gun on my head I would say Kill 'Em All. 3. Justice 4. Black Album The first four are all 100/100. Black album is 85/100. All are 5 stars, Black Album is 4.5 stars. Death Magnetic is 60/100. 3 stars but dangerously close to 2.5 stars. Metallica of the 80s is a top 3 favourite. I don't claim much objectivity! ;)

You know, it's just the lacking bass which makes it seem a bit thin productionwise. |

It's the founding album of thrash metal so it has a huge historical importance in the history of metal. Four Horsemen |

I just finished giving MOP a 5 star review, so that's where my vote goes.
You should have included all their studio albums. While they may not stand a chance to win, some may prefer the Loads or St Anger over the above albums. I know I prefer the Loads over The Black album anyway. But then again, it's just a stupid poll so who cares? |

fist one to vote for black album. just admit that you all like it but won't say it loud because it's "not metal enough".

Kill 'em All. Not one of the Metallica albums that I own (yet!) but it is the best.

Easy....Master Of Puppets.
I suspect Metallica may be to MMA what Dream Theater were/are to PA and this will be the first of 2000 polls about them

I'm torn between Master and Justice, but went with Master, using the lame excuse that its production is better.

Today I'm voting for Justice, but Puppets is my usual choice. Lightning is almost as brilliant.
And they do have other good albums too

MoP for me - one of my top metal albums of all time, though I like Ride the Lightning almost as much. "The Call of Ktulu" is awesome, and really captures the spirit of Lovecraft's story.
