They're definitely not Melodic Death Metal. I only own One Kill Wonder which is a Thrash release. It's good but all of the excellent songs are tacked onto the end of the album with the first 3/4 of the album only being slightly above average.

Nope they are not melodeath one bit. I�d recommend that you start with Revolver:
The three first albums are a bit more raw but very enjoyable too. Especially One Kill Wonder:
The two last albums have seen them mellow out a bit or show a more mature side if you will. I haven�t listened to those that much yet. Be prepared for some serious Slayer influences if you dig into the first four albums.

hi guys,
i'm about to explore The Haunted, which album will you recommend for starter? i love thrash but usually can't get into death metal easily (except hybrid like the early sepultura), I believe they're melodeath but transformed into thrash if i'm not mistaken, thanks |
