That has to be Red Hot Chili Peppers : Live At Slane Castle for me. Still my favourite dvd in the world, with possibly the most emotional perfomances performed by the greatest guitarist alive in my world, John Frusciante.

I taped an Alice Cooper Halloween concert off of MTV. I think that was the first music video that I had. I think that the first music VHS that I bought was a Dio Music Videos collection. I can't remember what the first DVD I bought was. I think it was probably either Rush or Dream Theater. The first Blu Ray was the Rush Beyond the Lighted Stage.

Come to think of it, I may have gotten Iron Maiden's Rock in Rio before the Dream Theater DVD, but I can't remember.

On VHS: A metal collection I don't remember the name but I remember some songs:
Warrior - Fighting For The Earth Loudness - Crazy Nights and a guitar player named Robin George. Does anyone know what happened to this guitar player? On DVD: Really I don't remember right now... Maybe Iron Maiden's "Live After Death" |

What were the first music videos that you either received as a gift or purchased yourself? They don't have to be metal, but mine happen to be.
For me, VHS: Korn - Who Then Now? I no longer own this one, but I watched it at a friend's house a few years ago. DVD: Dream Theater - Live Scenes From New York Edited by Stooge - 19 Sep 2010 at 1:27pm |
