I must say, you reviewers here on MMA are nailing the reviews on the front page.

I've bought three 2014 albums so far:

Iced Earth - Plagues Of Babylon
Alcest - Shelter
Within Temptation - Hydra

and the reviews match my feelings towards each one, pretty much exactly. Only thing I'd add to the WT - Hydra review (by adg211288) is that I'm thinking this album suffers oh-so slightly from the 'loudness war syndrome', in that it was recorded so loud that it's just a teenie weenie bit compressed...on a couple of songs I think it just barely starts to clip. Maybe it's my imagination running wild, but I think I can hear it. Other than that a great album, great reviews, keep up the good work. I wish I was more 'wordy', I'd start doing some.
