Didn't get to see Ulcerate's set because I had to catch the last train home. Cry

But I did pick up some vinyl while I was there from Castevet.

I finished all my exams for this year today, and celebrated by wondering into a 2ndhand CD store.
Came out with the first four Bon Jovi albums (S/t, 7,800 degrees, Slippery' and New Jersey) and Children Of Bodom's Are You Dead Yet?

I was browsing a nearby Goodwill, when I found an amazing jackpot of music there, including Van Halen, Rush, and Korn. Among those, I purchased Mer De Noms (A Perfect Circle). When I opened the jewel case to listen to it, another disk fell out:

Both albums in one jewel case. A great gift of luck I might say.

That's truly amazing.

my recent purchases were also at a thrift store. I found Lacuna Coil's 'Karmacode' and a Crossfade live footage dvd. Pretty good seeing as most of the thrift store music is Pop and Soul or stuff like that. Tongue

Soul is absolutely horrible.
Unlike pop, which can spawn good things like Phil Collins (and even Styx in some cases), soul has nothing to contribute to society.

The only two Styx albums that really were pop-influenced was Cornerstone and Kilroy Was Here, but I see where you're coming from. There is absolutely nothing good about Soul for me Dead

I heard bad things about this album. How is it?

My most recent purchase was Mastodon's new record Once More 'Round the Sun
