Now that the entire back catalogue of Ukrainian black poets DRUDKH has been re-released as restored versions in Digipaks with exclusive artworks, it is time to move on to the next step. Hence, DRUDKH's brand new album has been set for a September 20th release, and will be entitled "Handful of Stars".

Even if Microcosmos wasn't as good as I hoped (still great though) I have my hopes very high. The Les Discrets dude is handling the graphics of this album I believe, so I'm sure it will at least look good. ;-)

Great! Clap It's actually kind of coincidental that I'm listening to Microcosmos right now... LOL

I'm not a huge fan, but I do enjoy their albums. Smile Black metal isn't my favorite metal genre, but Drudkh is definitely a high quality band.

^ Interesting. Do you know if the running time(s) are listed anywhere? I've got a feeling the opening and closing numbers are short acoustic pieces, giving it a similar layout to Microcosmos. Of course, I'm just basing this on the song titles. Tongue

I was about to say that no, there's no info about the running times yet (and that I'm getting the same feeling that the first and the last tracks are just short pieces)... but now that I look at Metal Archives, they somehow have the times already:

1.Cold Landscapes01:13
2.Downfall of the Epoch12:10
3.Towards the Light09:18
4.Twilight Aureole08:59
5.The Day Will Come09:06
6.Listening to the Silence01:04

So, pretty much the same layout as with Microcosmos, heh.

I liked Microcosmos as much as their classic albums, so I'm perfectly fine with that. Thumbs Up

The album's released Sept. 20th around the world, but the release date is October 12th in North America. And then they wonder why these things get pirated... I know I'm sure as hell not waiting an extra 3 weeks. Evil Smile

Seriously, I will buy it once it's released over here though. I have nothing against downloading for sampling and temporary purposes.
