So...what do you think now? I have had about 4 listens and think it is one of the better albums. Isle of Avalon is really setting up to be one of my favs IM epics.........
Its a well done album, epic, mellow, heavy......the boys seem to be focusing more on their playing, its working.
Me like.........

Ok I agree on the
 .... It also took me 2-3 listens before I was appreciating the first 4 songs, the last songs were more easy to understand and appreciate...but I like longer epic songs anyway. Although I really like El Dorado, but because I saw/heard it perfomed live, is what makes me like it so much.My fear is that Isle of Avalon will turn into a so-so song live, unlike Paschendale, which is awesome live. But I will have to wait for the new tour in a year or so to find out.
Its a very good album to start........could turn into a great album depending on the next tour.
